Information
Deep Clarify with Comfort
This French Green Clay Mask delivers a more detoxifying experience while maintaining skin balance. French Green Clay is known for its stronger oil-absorbing and purifying properties, making it ideal for congestion, excess sebum, and environmental build-up.
What elevates this formula is its thoughtful oil blend. Meadowfoam and Camellia provide lightweight conditioning, while Abyssinian & Jojoba reinforce the skin barrier so the clay doesn’t over-strip. The inclusion of Isopropyl Myristate enhances spreadability, giving the mask a smooth, silky glide rather than a draggy feel.
Colloidal Oatmeal softens the intensity of the clay, helping calm redness and promote a clearer, more even tone. Frankincense & Cedarwood essential oils adds a subtle soothing element and gentle woodyl aroma.
Unlike traditional “tight and crack” green clay masks, this version feels refined and skin-conscious — delivering a visibly clearer complexion without discomfort.
Verdict: A well-balanced clarifying mask ideal for combination, oily, and breakout-prone skin types that still need barrier support.
How to apply
How to Apply a Clay Face Mask for Best Results
A clay mask is one of the simplest ways to give your skin a deep cleanse and healthy-looking glow. Applying it correctly helps maximise the benefits while preventing the skin from becoming overly dry.
Step 1: Cleanse Your Skin
Begin with freshly cleansed skin. Remove makeup, sunscreen and daily impurities using your usual cleanser, then gently pat your face dry.
Step 2: Apply an Even Layer
Using clean fingers or a mask brush, apply a thin to medium layer over the face. Avoid the delicate eye area and lips.
A good rule is to apply enough to cover the skin evenly without making the mask excessively thick.
Step 3: Allow the Mask to Work
Leave the mask on for:
- Green French Clay: 5–10 minutes for sensitive skin, up to 15 minutes for oily skin
Avoid allowing the mask to become completely dry, cracked and flaky. Slight dampness is ideal and helps prevent unnecessary dehydration.
Step 4: Remove Gently
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, using gentle circular motions to help loosen the mask. A soft face cloth can help remove any remaining residue.
Step 5: Rehydrate the Skin
Follow immediately with:
- A hydrating toner or facial mist
- A serum if desired
- Your favourite moisturiser or face cream
This helps lock in moisture and leaves the skin feeling soft and comfortable.
How Often Should You Use a Clay Mask?
- Oily or blemish-prone skin: 1–2 times weekly
- Combination skin: Once weekly
- Normal skin: Once weekly
- Dry or sensitive skin: Every 10–14 days
